I purchased the SPG0100 Pistol Grip But Stock for my Winchester 1400 and the REM7200 for my Remington 760 from MIlArm in Edmonton. I thought you might be interested in my reason for these Pistol Grip Type Stocks. I suffer from Arthritis in both my hands. My right hand gives me the most trouble. I suffer a great deal of pain when shooting these guns with the conventional stock. I find it very difficult to shoulder the rifle and when I shoot it is very painful. This condition has worsened to the point that I was ready to give up shooting when the idea came to me that a pistol grip type stock might not be so difficult. I purchased both these stocks and mounted them in both Winchester and the Remington. The past Sunday I went to the range at my club and shot three rounds of trap, and 15 rounds of 300 Savage from the rifle sighting in a new scope off a bench rest. Shooting this rifle from the bench last year was so painful I asked my brother in law to sight in my rifle. Last
Sunday, shooting both with your pistol grip but stock, was a dream. Not totally pain free but much better with only a few minor twinges mostly from poor grip on my part. I am happy to report that it looks like I will be able to continue using these guns till I get to old to hold them which may not be to far in the future as I am 76 years old. They do knock me around a bit. I think they recoil a lot more than they did when I was younger.
I am not sure that it is a selling feature or not but the ability to continue shooting into my old age with buggered up hands is a big plus. You should promote it. -- Al
